Ricoh’s new A4 colour MFPs and printers are highly capable desktop devices.

The MFPs, which are equipped with document feeders and duplexes, are designed to be used as multipurpose document hubs by SMBs and small workgroups.

The printers are offered as lower cost alternatives for customers with print only requirements. The new models are well specified and easy to use.

The MFPs feature a 4.3” colour touchscreen operation panel that simplifies use of advanced imaging features, such as scan to email and ID card copy. The colour touchscreen operation panel offers more extensive functionality and is easier to use than the LCD control panels of older models. It also requires less steps to operate than competitor models.

High quality 600 x 2400 dpi colour output is produced at a brisk 20 pages per minute. T

he MFPs support printing, copying, scanning and fax, and are equipped, as standard, with either an ADF or an SPDF. The SPDF (SP C261SFNw and SP C262SFNw) saves time by scanning both sides of documents in a single pass.

In higher volume applications, the standard 250 sheets paper supply can be extended to 750 sheets with the addition of an optional second tray. All models are wirelessly enabled and support mobile printing using AirPrint, Mopria and Google Cloud Print applications. With WiFi Direct, smart phones and tablets can be easily connected using Ricoh’s Smart Device Connector app. To connect, users only need to touch their Android device on the NFC tag or scan the displayed QR code.
